Canada: revision of food labeling requirements

In  the  second  half  of June  2015, Canada  informed  the  WTO on its intentions to  review  and improve  regulations  which  define food  labeling requirements. It  is  aimed  at  improving the ability for consumers to make informed choices about the food they consume.
Proposed date of entry into force: five years after the day on which they are published in the Canada Gazette, Part II. Final date for comments: 75 days after publication in Canada Gazette, Part I.
